Sarah Rachel Maxwell

I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist who specializes in the assessment of psychological disorders that interfere with learning, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and/or dyslexia, as well as social emotional learning challenges. I offer psychoeducational assessments, which unlock answers as to what is interfering with an individual’s learning potential. In addition, I recommend evidence based interventions which enable individuals to become successful, life-long learners. I have much experience in working with families and addressing concerns about their child’s learning difficulties. I am an experienced listener, who asks thought provoking questions, helping lead the way to your child’s learning success. I would like to understand why your child is having difficulty, so that I can recommend useful strategies to all stakeholders. I believe all children can succeed when their strengths and areas of difficulty are considered. I have been an educator for over 15 years now, including teaching and school psychology. I am familiar with how systems in schools and districts are set up. The standards are rigorous and many children are falling behind, but with the right modifications in place, your child can be successful. I am part of your team and will walk with you the entire way.
