Therapist Overview
Do you struggle with your relationship with food and your body? Do you find yourself constantly thinking about food and don’t know why? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others but never add up? Do you feel like you’re caught in a vicious cycle of dieting? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, I can help. Struggling with food, negative body image, and chronic dieting can feel isolating – but know that you don’t have to conquer it all on your own. As a therapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, emotional eating, anxiety, perfectionism and more – I can help you work towards recovery. I strive to provide my clients with effective and efficient outpatient treatment by utilizing evidence-based practices and a team-informed approach. I take a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach to counsleing in addition to evidence-based practices for eating disorders such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Family-Based Treatment. Using a HAES approach means that I welcome all sized bodies and believe everyone deserves to be valued, respected, and accepted as they are.
