Therapist Overview
“Pain can change you, but that doesn’t mean it has to be a bad change. Take that pain and turn it into wisdom.” When you are in emotional pain, it impacts every portion of your life. Your relationships suffer, it can be difficult to do the things you want and need to do. Don’t let pain keep you from living the life you deserve any longer! I will help you learn skills that you can apply to make your life and relationships better. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing things like anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, depression, relationship conflict, Complex PTSD, and emotional sensitivity. I am LGBTQ affirming. Seeking help for what you are going through can be a difficult step to take. You don’t have to struggle alone! I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and incorporate mindfulness into sessions when appropriate. I am also trained in EMDR to address trauma. When you see me you do not have to worry about being judged! Don’t let fear of seeking help keep you from living the life you deserve. I believe that your mental health treatment should not be impacted by things such as your sexual orientation, religious beliefs (or lack of), or other things some professionals might not understand. I am kink and polyamory affirming. Everyone needs someone to listen. Call me today!
