I have 20+ years of extensive experience in multiple different specialties and areas of concentration in the counseling field working with children, youth and families. I focus on key issues of concern with strategy, skill development and ‘hands on” parent coaching, offering hours of assistance to meet families needs. We will assist you in your developmental moments while encompassing your past/current/future experiences to create awareness and growth. I use traditional Sand Tray Therapy as a form of expressive therapy creating a threat-free environment. It is a healing tool where the person is able to express themselves through figures. As well, I am trained in EMDR where it is proven to treat and assist with PTSD and trauma through recalling distressing images while generating bilateral sensory input. My goal is to take each person one at a time and address the areas of concern with an individualized approach. Our small intimate practice considers and respects each and every person’s background, personal sexual identity, relationship status, religion, global perspective and lifestyle when beginning a therapeutic relationship.
