Therapist Overview
***Currently accepting new clients for telehealth sessions.*** Are you or your child stuck in a trap of worry? Perhaps you can’t see the way out from a hole you never expected to fall into. Many of my clients find themselves paralyzed by anxiety. They devote most of their energy to appearing “normal” on the outside while inside they fear they’re never good enough or just plain “going crazy.” My adolescent clients feel they are not as good as their peers. My adult clients worry they are imposters and don’t deserve to be where they are today. Beneath all of these fears lie a sense of helplessness, hopelessness, and worthlessness. In my decade of work in the field, I have found that having a wide range of intervention styles in my toolbox serves my clients well. To this end, I have trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, yoga, mindfulness, artistic techniques for therapy, journaling for introspection, and a range of other creative methods to help you get where you are going. I believe that meaningful growth is achieved only when a person feels fully heard, accepted, safe, and worthy just as they are in the present moment. I help my clients appreciate their own strengths so that they can harness their unique abilities to make the changes they want to see in their lives. Contact me to start the journey to where you want to be.
