Therapist Overview
I work towards supporting individual and collective liberation using anti-oppression & anti-racist frameworks. I collaboratively work with folks who are compelled towards greater self-understanding, freedom, autonomy, interdependence and wellbeing, humans who recognize their own agency in their healing processes. I engage with folx in different layers of their identities that impact their lived experiences. By deepening our insights around patterns, values, and narratives we hold about ourselves and the systems & relationships we inhabit, we move toward greater understanding and compassion for ourselves and others. My practice is eclectic: rooted in insight-based, relational, attachment & experiential therapies situated within a social justice lens. I believe we heal in relationship by increasing our mindful awareness of patterns, beliefs, and emotions. Folks who come to me are looking for ways to navigate patterns that once served them, but are now creating pain. I offer a warm, compassionate, active and curious presence. We may use mindfulness-based, experiential, relational and cognitive interventions in session. I offer therapy that supports the constant processes of becoming: deepening your insights, attuning to your own inherent wisdom and softening into accepting the even the stickiest parts of yourself.
