Therapist Overview
Young people experience many challenges in the cyber age. Not only are they struggling to cope with traditional stressors such as family, friends, and school, but they feel sadder and lonelier than ever. My goal is to assist our youth with finding their voice, embracing their strengths, and for them to become empowered. I want to provide preteens, adolescents, and young adults with a safe, judgment-free space that allows them to explore their cultural, racial, economic, spiritual, and gender identities so that they may decide who they are for themselves. I provide comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments that utilize a multimodal approach to data gathering to assist with not only identifying areas of concerns but to highlight domains of strengths to inform data-driven, scientifically-based, and culturally sensitive interventions. I also provide counseling/psychotherapy. I want to support young people with becoming agents of positive change for not only themselves but their families, friends, neighborhoods, and global communities.
