Have you been cheated on and don’t know whether to stay or go in the relationship? Do you feel like you’ve lost your partner to work, and you can’t connect anymore? I hear you, you are broken hearted. You are sad, confused and overwhelmed with hurt from the person you thought you knew so well. You aren’t clicking like you used to, and every time you try to make things better, you end up arguing, yelling or crying. You are so frustrated with the miscommunication and the constant lack of understanding between the two of you. You want to stay together, but it is getting to the point where you are unsure of how you can make it work. Imagine your partner understanding your true feelings and experiences. Think how nice it would be to have fun together again, to laugh, and to enjoy being around each other. Through counseling, I help couples find intimacy and create a plan for connection. We partner together in an LGBTQ and diversity affirming space to identify and work toward your goals. You may worry that your partner won’t feel comfortable coming to counseling with you, but I offer a number of options including virtual counseling, walk and talk therapy, and animal assisted therapy with Loki.
