I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in individual and group therapy for people of all ages. I spent that past 6 years working with adolescents and young adults who have been involved in the juvenile justice system. I have seen how mental health issues can cause significant problems in an individual’s personal life, family, and within the community. My goal as a clinician is to help my clients identify what a healthy relationship looks like while maintaining their own individual core values. I specialize in treating individuals who have substance use issues and those who have been identified as commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC). I use a trauma-informed approach while treating individuals who have experienced physical, sexual and emotional abuse and those who have witnessed violence in within their communities. I believe that change is slow and steady. I am confident that I will be able to continue to help my clients utilize learned coping skills in order to make positive changes in their lives.
