Change can be overwhelming, particularly if we are already stressed with a variety of obstacles and difficulties that might bring us to counseling. Seeking help doesn’t make a us weak, it makes us human. Regardless of what has brought you to begin seeking help, and what you might be facing, I believe growth is possible. I am working with folks through both video and in person to help them through anxiety, sadness, fear, past trauma, and family difficulties. I have been there myself, and I understand how hard it may be to reach out. I utilize an integrated approach, combining mindfulness, insight oriented, and creative approaches to assist clients achieve overall wellness. I’m trained in EMDR, and specialize in working with kids, teens, young adults and families. The therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of counseling, and here you will find both trust and compassion. Often it is through pushing beyond our greatest fears that we find strength.
