Therapist Overview

I specialize in eating disorders, addiction, trauma, and developing healthy relationships. As a formally trained eating disorder therapist, I help clients develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies, while also navigating through the more complex issues that are often hidden behind the disordered behaviors. I received advanced training through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in evidence-based, eating disorder specific modalities such as CBT-E and Family Based Treatment (“Maudsley”) therapy. I also incorporate DBT and CPT into my work with clients. My personal therapeutic style is empathic, genuine and direct (with a large helping of humor). I am committed to supporting clients and their family members and believe that full recovery is attainable. I can’t promise that the path to recovery is easy – but I do promise to partner with you and to find the pieces of humor and light along the way.
