Therapist Overview

Wander translates to the Latin term, Vagus- the largest and most complex network of nerves in our body that make up our socially and emotionally connected, neurobiological experiences. Our bodies can manifest dis-eases in ranging degrees of severity, after a prolonged period in stressful circumstances. Through a relational/attachment, neurobiological and systemic look at your world inside and out, we will explore ways to build regulation with the body and honoring its needs. Trauma work is restorative justice inside and out, as we examine ways in which we continue to practice the colonial, racist, dominating cultural implications within us – how are we rejecting and punishing our own sense of worth in the ways that our system treats our bodies? This is a space to be curious, unlearn, feel more than think, and Wander within. I invite the body to take lead in healing, through somatic and neurobiological attunement, Somatic Archaeology & Brainspotting. We tap into our familial, ancestral, and systemic patterns that live within our cellular and implicit memories and sensations. By remembering, we move and can sort through the materials that no longer belong.
