Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with a variety of populations and have been a therapist since 2001. I have specialized training in EMDR, substance abuse, gambling and trauma therapies. I have also presented locally and regionally on trauma and addictions. As an adoptive parent, I also understand the unique challenges that can come with family disruptions. I believe that our childhood shapes who we are, however it does not have to define who we can be. Helping persons healing these past trauma’s, helps support long term success and a renewed sense of purpose. We are a multi-faceted office, with psychiatric services on site provided by Dr. Cynthia Paul and Dr. Michael Coy. We also have another therapist, Rebecca Hood-Kjeldgaard, LIMHP on site who can provide family and couple’s therapy. We are able to offer a collaborative approach to care.
