I have spent the last 22 years with the State of New Mexico working in Protective Services, Juvenile Probation, and I am currently working for Behavioral Health as a Clinician, all are under the umbrella of Children, Youth, and Families. While working for the state I have been in several positions. I recently started at Counseling Las Cruces as a Contractor. I am original from Danville, IL but have made New Mexico my home since 1980. I obtained my bachelor degree at Western New Mexico University and my Master’s degree from Highlands University. I have obtained my Independent License in 2013. I have gained experience in trauma, bipolar, personality disorders, ADHD, substance abuse, couples, individual and family counseling. I have extensive training in Best Practices Addressing Problem Sexual Behavior in Youth.
