Therapist Overview
Since 2003 my work has been with people experiencing problems related to substance use, trauma, mood dysregulation, psychosis, poverty, stigmatization, criminal injustice and oppression. My passion is for fostering spaces for for exploration, discovery, healing and growth. I have provided services in inpatient, outpatient and intensive community settings. Additionally, I have supervised both BSW and MSW students in field and the classroom. To the role of clinician and clinical supervisor, I bring insatiable curiosity, experience in relationship-building and a clinical lens shaped by both providing and receiving services. Therapeutic care must recognize and allay the damage of environmental and systemic oppression. Radical Well-Being Center provides creative and healthy space to supervise newer social work practitioners as they grow and hone their own skills. Together, we are reshaping our system of care into one that promotes healing, inclusivity and community.
