Therapist Overview
Are you stuck? Same problems, same thoughts? Your relationship emotionally draining? Unable to find fulfillment in life, or imagine something different? Relief from suffering is my primary goal of the therapy I conduct. Depression, anxiety, addictions and trauma require another person to help you understand their pull and face them, so they no longer control your life. Suffering alone only forces the pain to emerge in symptoms, behaviors, and personal interactions that undermine your life. I help individuals and couples to alleviate symptoms, improve your relationships, improve your sense of self, and assist you in overcoming your suffering, transcending it, and finding meaning in it. My approach tailors to what you need. My work is primarily psychodynamic, (a focus on conscious and unconscious processes), combining insight and reflection, but I also address your coping skills, mindfulness in the present moment, your interpersonal interactions and (any) self destructive patterns.
