Therapist Overview

The individuals who I normally practice with are mostly adults. My clients may come from various backgrounds and have different symptoms. They are eager and motivated to work through their emotional, cognitive and relational difficulties to better themselves and reduce symptoms of anxiety, worry, confusion, social withdrawal, preoccupations and addictive behaviors. Even if at the beginning they may feel ambivalent, they tend to develop a trusting working relationship with me and jointly work towards their treatment goals. Emotional healing is a process that requires patience and skill. As a clinician, I provide a balanced, nonjudgemental, objective and yet compassionate perspective. Working together, I help clients overcome their emotional blockages, find healing for old and recent traumas, and find empathy for self and others. Often life seems to be overwhelmingly difficult, confusing and unfair, and its easy to lose self-confidence and sight of your purpose and destination. It may feel scary and lonely, but it doesn’t have to be this way. I am ready to join you on this exciting journey towards independence, confidence, and more fulfilled life.
