Therapist Overview

Loneliness and isolation are difficult to work through on our own. We may feel overwhelmed by depression and anxiety and have difficulty finding meaning. We can feel chased by persistent feelings of dissatisfaction, grief, or loss, and question our self-worth. It may feel increasingly difficult to “hold it together for” others in our lives. Even though we need help, we may feel skeptical about whether therapy is for us. Therapy offers a place to explore our experience of ourselves in a confidential setting with the possibility of deep, meaningful change. I work with clients from a relational psychodynamic perspective and use other therapeutic tools, including mindfulness. My approach is tailored to you and is evidence-based, collaborative, and open. I welcome questions about what it might be like to work together. Finding a therapist can be daunting, and a good fit is important. If you have not had therapy before, you might have questions about what it is like, or even if it will help.
