Therapist Overview
None of us enter this world with a User’s Manual. When something goes wrong in our lives, where can we turn for help? I sometimes think of psychotherapy as an IT helpdesk for mental health related “technical problems.” My approach is kind and gentle; only in a warm and safe environment are we free explore our problems and develop solutions. For over fifteen years now I have been a licensed marriage and family therapist, working with individuals, couples, and families. I have exceptional experience with children and adolescents facing issues that include school performance, behavior, LGBTQ identity, anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance abuse, eating disorders, and PTSD. I am the Clinical Director of the David H. Fox Counseling Center and serve as adjunct faculty at Phillips Graduate University in Chatsworth. I hold a Master of Science degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from CSUN. I am a certified supervisor with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists
