Therapist Overview

My clients lives are stressful and our sessions a space to pause and reflect. I support clients struggling with stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, difficult family & relationship dynamics, job/school concerns and more. Some know what change(s) they want to make in therapy, while for others this is a starting point for therapy. There is very much chaos and uncertainty in the world right now, but more ease within yourself is both possible and deserved. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I place much emphasis on building safety within the therapy relationship, and at times use mindfulness and CBT techniques depending on the client’s needs. I listen with care, openness and non-judgment. I am especially oriented toward the impact of trauma and oppression in my clients’ lives and histories. I invite you to reach out to schedule a free, brief phone consultation before the first session to get a better sense for working together.
