I have been practicing in Colorado Springs as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Addictions Counselor for the past 28 years. During that time I have worked with a wide variety of clients and have helped many individuals and couples work through difficult emotional times. People seek counseling for a large number of reasons and I work with clients to overcome depression, anxiety, PTSD and many other emotional issues. My treatment focus is primarily cognitive behavioral and solution focused which means that we will tackle issues head on and set goals for therapy and accomplish change in as brief a time frame as possible. I also am trained in EMDR and have seen amazing changes using this technique. For the past six years I have worked with Military members, spouses and especially teens from military families to help them navigate the sometimes difficult world of deployment and change.
