Some of these factors are early childhood and adult relationship experiences, genetic predisposition, and environmental factors. Her belief is that therapy is not a process that labels you, but an avenue that can help overcome life’s challenges. Her approach lies in the foundations of Psychoanalytic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Reality Therapy. These established approaches have been proven to facilitate positive outcomes for many individuals and can work for you too. Ms. Barner has several years experience working with anxiety, depression, addiction, borderline, and bi-polar related mood changes; all of which can directly effect personal and professional relationships.
