Therapist Overview

Asking for help can feel intimidating and daunting, but acknowledging we need help is a courageous act. I approach therapy in a relational, and collaborative way. My therapeutic work is influenced by body-centered, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and contemplative psychotherapy. I work with individuals with trauma history and will utilize trauma informed lens to work with you. I also utilize culturally sensitive approach to provide space for individuals whose lives are on the margins. I am especially motivated to work with Queer, Trans and Non-Binary individuals, as these populations face unique challenges and obstacles. In my work as a therapist, I strive to provide a supportive, caring and kind environment by being fully present with you and listening to what is really happening for you and encourage exploration with curiosity of what it means to be human. I believe that being witnessed by someone to meet and understand challenges can lead to transformation and healing. My goal is to be both a guide and witness to your process of discovering the path of transformation that is deeply personal and unique to your experience as a human being in this word. I offer free 15 minute phone consultation to see if I would be a good fit for you.
