Therapist Overview

My goal is to help individuals become more present in their lives and actively engaged in their valued pursuits. Working together, we will identify and address the barriers that keep you from moving forward and experiencing a full life, satisfying relationships, and realizing your educational, occupational, or athletic potential. I practice acceptance-based behavioral therapy which means I help clients use mindfulness and other acceptance-based strategies and exercises to decrease the distress caused by painful thoughts, emotions, memories and physical sensations and improve their quality of life. I also offer mental training for athletes using mindfulness and acceptance-based interventions to help athletes get out of their heads and into the moment and able to utilize their talents, skills, and training to their best potential.
