I work with individuals who have been influenced by the criminal justice system, either by working in it, being involved with it due to arrest or having a loved one who has been incarcerated. I also treat trauma to include both recent traumatic events and abuse while growing up. I also treat mood instability, self-harming, sense of emptiness and self-destructive behaviors otherwise known as Borderline Personality Disorder. Not surprisingly, the clients I treat often have at least two of the above. All my clients have a strong desire to stop emotional suffering and achieve a life of peace. I love teaching skills to help people manage their life in a healthier way and get the results from their life that they want and to reduce emotional suffering. I offer Dialectical Behavioral Therapy which teaches skills to help manage emotions and relationships. I offer Brainspotting which treats trauma. I believe therapy is where we work together to help you build the life you want and overcome the difficulties you face. It’s important to learn to heal from the pain of our past so we can have a life of peace. So if you are feeling like your feelings, your behaviors and life are out of control, we can fix it together!
