Therapist Overview

I help clients learn and practice emotional regulation skills to obtain their highest level of functioning. I order to create individualized care, I pay attention to the client identities and cultural experiences (i.e. race/ethnicity, gender, class) to empower clients to identify and actively pursue their goals. I have extensive experience working with adults and children who have experienced traumatic events at various stages of their development. I have 8 years of experiences working with survivors of sexual trauma and their loved ones. I have experience working with populations ranging in age from 5-17, adults from 18-86, and couples. My view of counseling is foster therapeutic rapport, build a safe and nonjudgmental environment while assisting the client with managing their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to their body.
