Being stuck is scary, painful and frustrating. You get locked into worrying. You feel pressure to do things perfectly. It’s hard to make decisions. Anxiety makes it hard to sleep. Addictions might arise: food, sex, substance or over working. You might think “something is horribly wrong and I must fix it NOW!” It’s really tricky to be a human being sometimes. I have worked with clients for 30 years and have learned from my clients that getting unstuck is paradoxical: it involves both accepting where you are and being willing to change and grow.
