We’re fortunate to be in a time where there is so much access to good psychological information. But there can also be a lot of pressure to figure things out on our own and get things right. Therapy can be enormously helpful in gaining clarity about what we think and feel and identify what is important to us. With clarity it is easier to make choices or change or even let go of some of the things that have been holding us back. I bring over 15 years of experience working with individuals of all ages as well as families. I’m comfortable and experienced working with long standing problems that we can carry as a result of a difficult childhood such as anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. The longer I do this work the more I find to inspire me. I bring a hopefulness that comes from the regular experience of seeing even the most difficult situations transform to become more workable.
