Therapist Overview
Endings can be a joyful, painful, confusing mix of experiences. They can make way for new beginnings while also leaving us feeling lost. Change is part of life, as certain as death and just as unpredictable. It can be scary to experience change, even if it’s change you’re choosing. Maybe you’re exploring your gender identity or sexuality, maybe you’re figuring out your racial identity and grappling with white privilege, or maybe you’re just going through the ebb and flow of life. Whatever changes you’re experiencing, you are worthy of support. Let’s find out what change you’re ready to make. I use a person-centered, feminist, trauma informed, multicultural approach which means that I believe that you know you best. We can look together at how your experiences, environment, and culture impact your goals and strengths. I strive to minimize gatekeeping by providing hormone replacement therapy letters to those seeking transition. My experiences as a queer, body positive non-binary woman give me a unique perspective that helps me connect with a diverse range of clients. I acknowledge my responsibility to name my privilege and use it to pursue an antiracist practice. My goal is to provide a safe place for us to figure things out together and ask the hard questions. Let’s get started!
