Therapist Overview

Finding a therapist who feels compatible is crucial in beginning the meaningful work of therapy. My aim is to assist you or your family in finding and creating a safe and nurturing place to begin that good work. I am motivated to do collaborative work that is both effective and has depth, and which is oriented toward the development of the person in their truest self, and the family system in its most generous capacity. I employ an integrative and neurobiologically-informed approach to treating the whole person within systems theory. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and AEDP primarily in my practice, an adult attachment healing modality, both of which aim to resolve that which limits vitality and hope. I have advanced training in parenting and relationship issues, and draw from models that treat trauma, attachment and lifelong hardships. I work with children at times, but have moved my practice from one where I see adults and children to one where I primarily treat adult individuals
