Therapist Overview
I graduated in 2000 with my JD/MSW from Washington University. After 14 years as a family law attorney, I switched gears and became a full-time therapist. I have a passion for working with children whose families are experiencing divorce and/or changes in custody. These children need a safe place to process out what’s happening to their families and to learn that it is not their fault. I also was a school-based therapist and have experience with many mental health concerns. I enjoy working thru problem behaviors with children and their families. I can help your child learn coping strategies to assist them in stressful situations. I specialize in children ages 3-10. I will also see older children as needed, especially in child custody cases. I use play therapy techniques during sessions but also use a directive approach to address specific concerns of the family or the Court. I would love to learn more about your child(ren), your family, and how I can help you.
