I was 19 years old and had suffered alone for some time before developing the courage to reach out for professional help. What surprised me the most from that first therapy hour was how validated I felt by my counselor and how much confidence I left with that I would be able to change in the ways I wanted. This therapy experience greatly impacted my personal life (as well as my professional life as you can clearly tell). I primarily work with women (ages 18-60) and college students that are struggling with excessive worrying and feelings of low self worth. I fit best with individuals that can sense that healing and transformation will come as we fully connect with their emotional experience (yes, even those unpleasant and painful emotions).
