I evaluate children and teens who may have learning difficulties, problems focusing, general school problems, mood or anxiety-related concerns, or peer issues. Even if you feel you know your child very well, sometimes it is unclear why they are having such a hard time. Parents who bring their children to my practice are seeking guidance for how to best understand their difficulties and for recommendations for how they can help their child succeed. I am a pediatric neuropsychologist with specialty training working with children who present with various medical/developmental conditions. I provide comprehensive evaluations to better identify your child’s areas of strength, to clarify difficulties, to understand brain/behavior relationships, and to provide you with tailored evidence-based treatments. Life can be hard on kids. Some are not as equipped as others to navigate changing expectations and growing independence in the world, perhaps due to an underlying condition or environmental factors.
