Therapist Overview
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or disordered eating? As a therapist I will meet you where you are and walk with you as you meet your goals. I have a long history of working with adolescents and young adults though I enjoy working with people at all stages of life. Common struggles I often help clients with include depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, and eating disorders or disordered eating (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating habits). I work with my clients to find the appropriate therapeutic techniques for them to assist in making active and healthy life changes. This, along with a solid therapeutic relationship and collaborative goal setting, can increase positive outcomes. My therapy is grounded in evidence-based treatment, as I want to make sure I am providing the best care possible. My training includes thorough knowledge of manualized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills. Together we can work through many issues, including self-esteem, body image concerns, mood management, transitions, and other stressors.
