Therapist Overview
One of the bravest choices a person can make is to come to counseling. What I hope is that the time together is where you will feel listened to, feel safe, and know you are not along as we explore why you have come. I help with those who are stuck in patterns of life that are discouraging. Anxiety and depression, trauma, abuse, marriage counseling and exploring the impact of transition are also a part of my work. One of my passions is to teach how vulnerability and courage are tied into living whole-heartedly. My EMDR training is helpful with various areas of trauma. As a Certified Daring Way(tm) Facilitator, this gives me opportunity, either in the counseling room or in groups, to lead others in knowing how shame works in our story. A unique part of my life was working in a non-profit Christian work, overseas.
