As an experienced Certified Eating Disorder therapist, and as someone who is recovered myself, I am able to help clients navigate through the personal exploration of the more complex issues that are being covered up by the maladaptive functioning of an eating disorder. I have had the honor to work with many sacred clients and their families as I was Clinical Director for the original Monte Nido out in CA and currently as the Clinical Director of Monte Nido in MA. I work from a Humanistic and Relational place while incorporating CBT, DBT, and Values work. Although I am very interested in what you are recovering from, I am equally as interested to what you are recovering too…groundedness, balance, safety, confidence, maturity, self acceptance… I think it takes tremendous courage to be in this process and I am committed to supporting clients and their families through this process.
