Therapist Overview
Our inner emotional worlds can feel murky, messy, and at times unmanageable. For me, therapy is a way to illuminate those dark spaces. My role is to guide you to uncover and empower the parts of you that have gone neglected and break through the patterns that no longer serve you. Together we will attempt to understand the parts of you that feel misunderstood, identify the ways you have undermined your potential, and work through the emotions that must inevitably be processed in order to step into and embrace your most authentic self. I am guided by a relational-psychodynamic approach—meaning that above all, I believe that relationships are both at the root of our suffering and the delicate channels that can cultivate the growth required to reach our greatest potential. My goal is to co-create a safe space where all relationships, including the one between you and me, can be explored. Whether in individual or group therapy, I encourage the people I work with to walk courageously alongside me as we attempt to shed light on our inner selves, explore unprocessed emotions, understand why we are the way we are, and have new relational experiences together that can be integrated into our most genuine, ever-evolving selves.
