Therapist Overview
It takes courage to face that we are lost or struggling. Being here means you’ve already taken an important step toward self-love and care. I believe that what connects most humans is our underlying drive for understanding, love, and belonging. As our lives unfold, the ways in which we used to cope can become barriers to experiencing authenticity, meaning, and connection. Instead, we experience things like self-doubt, stress, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, loneliness, and loss of direction. I collaborate with clients to heal and make meaning from the past, learn new skills, and manifest the life they want. It is my priority to create space for safety, warmth, and respect. I try to bring compassion and humor to every session so that my clients can feel comforted and supported in accessing their vulnerability. Sessions may integrate neuroscience, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, and body-based practices to find more ease and space in body, mind, and spirit. If you feel moved to reach out, then I hope that you do. I offer a free phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit together. I currently accept Anthem, MaineCare and self-pay on a sliding scale. I look forward to hearing from you!
