Spirituality is an important part of the counseling process. Sometimes the reason that we are having issues with depression and anxiety is because we are not being true to our life purpose, have not found it yet, or we are trying to live a life that is not authentic to ourselves. Getting to know ourselves better, figuring out who we are and what we want out of life, learning to live our lives in a joyful and happy way will help us to feel better overall and reduce stress, anxiety, and sadness. That is where I come in. I work with individuals to learn how to practice self-care, positive coping strategies, identify negative core beliefs and improve negative thinking. I also use neuro-linguistical programming strategies and hypnosis to change negative patterns into positive patterns, identify core issues, and discover goals and a purpose for this life.
