Therapist Overview
*NOW ENROLLING*. My practice is launching a 14-session weekly therapy group via zoom on Wed, February 3 for adults with a history of trauma. Email for details! As a clinical psychologist, I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families who have been impacted by trauma. We are shaped most profoundly by our earliest and closest relationships, and when those relationships have been fraught with chronic adversity – either due to neglect and abuse, or due to unintentional or unavoidable life adversity – we tend to struggle emotionally, behaviorally, and interpersonally with the impact of early life trauma exposure. I believe in the therapeutic relationship as central to the treatment process, as well as the value of evidence-based practice grounded in a well-researched understanding of trauma on human development and functioning. Most importantly, I believe in the power of healing and growth for all persons, with confidence in the core strengths of the human spirit.
