Therapist Overview
The clients I work with struggle often feel disconnected, and my role is to help them become connected. Sometimes that takes the form of guiding a couple through the hard work of understanding each other more clearly and building on their strengths to meet their relationship goals. Sometimes its helping men come to terms with the narratives they’ve been burdened with so they can connect with their emotional experience and live more authentically. In all cases, though, my goal is to help my clients develop a deeper connection to their most authentic selves. I love working with couples. You could say it’s my jam. For me, it’s a collaborative process focused on connection. I help you, the couple, build the skills that will make you more closely connected. In my work with individuals, I use a blend of cognitive, mindfulness, and narrative techniques that address the needs of the head and the heart. It’s not easy beginning the search for counseling, but I applaud you for taking the first step. I’d love to connect to see if we’d be a good fit.
