As a longtime resident of Northern Virginia, I know personally that there are unique aspects to living in this area that can magnify the anxiety and pressure that we feel. I primarily work with teen girls (12+) and women who are overwhelmed by their stress at school, work, or home as well as those stuck in a transition – whether that be adjusting to middle school, high school, college, post-college life, post-partum life, pandemic life, a relationship or family change, a loss, and more. I’m passionate about the middle and high school age group. I’ve worked with teens and their families for over ten years, including serving as the Assistant Youth Director at McLean Presbyterian Church. I’ve also worked in the corporate world managing early career staff, so I understand the difficulties of adjusting to life after college. I’ve completed intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Youth at The Beck Institute and I run Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Informed Creative
