Therapist Overview
((CURRENTLY NOT TAKING NEW CLIENTS)) As we head into the holidays it can be helpful to have space to process the emotions and memories that are brought up during this time of year. My goal is to provide a safe relationship free from shame and judgment so my clients can be themselves and be fully seen in the therapeutic relationship. I have experience working with trauma, sexual compulsive disorders, relationship issues, family dynamics, and grief. Although these experiences can feel overwhelming and insurmountable, people are resilient and strong when provided with the proper tools and support. My counseling approach is person-centered meaning the relationship between the client and counselor is of utmost importance. Building a safe and trusting relationship is the key to collaborating with my clients as we explore different topics in the therapy room. Making the first call or sending an initial email to a therapist can feel intimidating and bring up lots of emotions. Having experienced this personally, it is my hope to be as approachable as possible and to answer each and every question a potential client might have. Especially during such uncertain times, it is my hope to help you feel you are not alone.
