Therapist Overview
I believe that within each individual, family, or relationship there is a natural and effective process for healing. Although in times of crisis helping a person or family find safety and stabilization becomes a priority, once this is established I have found an inside-out approach can be a powerful, creative, and effective process toward finding your unique self and path. I have specialized training in working with people struggling with mood and anxiety disorders. I am trained in body oriented trauma treatment, dissociation, sexual abuse, and complex relational trauma. I also have family and couples training utilizing both narrative and emotion focused, attachment orientation. An earlier training in the Arts, with MFA from NYU Tisch School, has taught me a great deal about the creative potential in each individual. Also, I have worked and trained with a diverse client population in NY and NJ in terms of ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and religious affiliat
