Therapist Overview
So you’re thinking about seeing a therapist… People come to therapy for lots of different reasons and at many different stages of needing help. You might be deep in your anxiety, depression, grief, or transition. You might be at the edge of change and worried about how/when to take the next step. You might be feeling pretty good, but curious about exploring some aspects of your past or current behaviors. It can feel daunting to be at the start of this process, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I work with individual adults 18+: young adults, undergraduate and graduate students and middle-aged/older adults navigating through the following: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Caregiver Fatigue, Relationship Issues, Grief/Loss/ Anticipating loss, Career exploration/transition, and the important life-feels-hard-right-now-and-I-need-to-talk-about-it moments. My goal is that you feel comfortable to talk about your story and know that you have in me a partner in helping you find your way through the tough parts.
