Therapist Overview

I believe therapy offers a unique space to safely explore habituated patterns, behaviors, and ways of being. I utilize a psychodynamic, relational framework, emphasizing the therapeutic dyad, and working towards cultivating a curiosity and warmth towards the therapeutic process as a whole. I have experience working with adults who come to therapy for a wide-range of reasons: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship upheaval, and loss. My work prioritizes creating a safe, empathic space where healing can begin. Utilizing an eclectic blend of psychodynamic psychotherapy, and evidence-based practices, I focus ultimately on what works best for a client’s specific therapeutic needs. I am additionally interested in the intersection between mind and body, exploring how trauma is held in the body, and how it can be released. Beginning the therapeutic process can be a daunting task, and I provide an empathic, nonjudgmental space to begin that process. Please reach out if you’re interested in scheduling an initial session.
