My name is Doug Harsch. I began my counseling career as a Pastor for 33 years. I dealt with many addiction, issues. Seeing their affects on marriages I wanted to focus more attention on Sexual, and chemical addiction and so I work toward my CSAT certification, and did my internship with Keys to Recovery, an in and out patient drug and alcohol facility. Feeling stuck, powerless, and wondering if there is hope is very common for addiction. I want to help clients see that addiction is not the end but a beginning to truly live. My wife and I also help couples recover from the relational issues that destroy marriages. I lead weekly recovery and support groups for men. Intensive men’s weekends are available to help men rediscover the true self and live fully alive. Individual counseling works with the issues and messages that play over and over in the mind and stop our growth. These messages affect marriages and we work to deeper connection and intimacy. This can all be very daunting but we take one situation at a time and learn new ways of living. Fear, loneliness, pain, and confusion are real experiences of life. They would have you believe there is no hope of a new and better life. I will hold Hope for you, knowing there is real full and free life waiting for you.
