Therapist Overview
One of my favorite quotes from a movie is “if something gets in your way, turn.” On the mountain top ready to ski down a “K12,” and the best advice a friend gives is “turn.” Changing your life’s trajectory takes work, but when done effectively and efficiently you will see the path behind you in a different light and the path before you on new ground. As of April 2020, I am doing telehealth (video) appointments and will continue until notified that in-person, maskless, sessions are permitted. I have found that telehealth sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions. The primary approach used in my practice is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address life’s many issues and traumas. Most 60 minute sessions are divided into 20 minute segments where the first 20 minutes are focused on checking-in and getting the mind and body set to work. The remaining time is centered around working on the issues that are blocking you from reaching your goals.
