We easily can have trouble dealing with change as well as emotions like shame, guilt, anxiety, fear, anger, and grief. Faith crises and transitions are especially difficult because religion give us our identity and sense of what it means to be human, our community, our relationship to power and authority, how we can and cannot use our bodiesā€”the very nature of reality.
