Do you suffer from chronic physical or emotional pain? Have you ever been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, IBS or non-epileptic seizures? However, many with these symptoms are afraid to reach out for help for fear of a negative reaction from others, or simply because they don’t know who to turn to when doctors can’t find a cause or cure. I use intensive short-term dynamic therapy (ISTDP) techniques coupled with elements of cognitive behavior therapies to reach and retrain the part of your brain that underlies the cause of your symptoms. These methods also work exceptionally well in addressing anxiety, depression, dissociative disorders and grief from loss or progressive illness.
